Senior Staff

Company: CAE
Location: Hertfordshire or Suffolk
Benefits: £425 to £465 per week ++ full board accommodation. Salaries are enhanced by holiday pay.

Duration: 4 - 5 week contracts available

Description
CAE operates residential summer courses for international children and teenagers aged 9 to 16 years. We offer an integrated programme of language classes, afternoon activities, evening entertainment and visits, tailored to the needs of the different age groups.

All staff are residential and contribute to the academic, social and pastoral wellbeing of the students. All staff are involved on the excursion programme and assist with airport transfers. All staff are asked to attend an Staff induction and to contribute to the feedback systems that CAE has in place.

The Senior Staff team comprises the Director of Student Services and the Director of Studies.

The Director of Student Services coordinates airport transfers, manages the Social Activity team responsible for the afternoon, evening and excursion programme.
The Director of Studies is responsible for the academic programme, manages the EFL team and works with the DSS on aspects of the excursion programme.
Senior Staff deputize for the Course Director and share responsibility for the effective delivery of the CAE residential summer courses.
These are senior positions requiring the motivation and skill of a mature, organised, practical and flexible team player. Relevant EFL experience and IT competency are essential.

Senior Staff are instrumental in maintaining positive atmosphere on site, by providing support to both Course Director and colleagues.

Requirements
Senior Staff must be degree qualified with experience in the EFL industry and of working with children in a residential environment.
Director of Studies Applicants will be Delta qualified.
Proven administrative, team management and IT skills are essential.

Driving Qualifications are desirable.
