As a Multi Activity Instructor you will be responsible for introducing our guest’s to activities, delivering taster sessions as well as indepth sessions in a range of activities to guest’s between 8-17 yrs of age as well as corporate groups. Activities include land based and watersports i.e. Surfing, Kayaking, Archery, Team Games, Quad Bikes, Abseiling, Aeroball, Hill Walk, Canoeing, Swimming, Fencing and Climbing.
You will be enthusiastic, willing to learn and share your experiences and hold loads of energy. Apart from leading activities you will also assist with the evening entertainment programme, supervision and other duties.
Day-to-day duties may include:
* Attending daily meetings
* Delivering Activity sessions to our guest’s
* Mentoring guest’s behavior and pastoral care
* Liaising with party leaders, teachers and other guest’s ensuring their stay runs smoothly
* Assisting with Arrivals, Departures including rooming plans and confirming group information
* Relaying group/guest information to other departments
* Planning and leading/assisting with the evening entertainments programme
* Leading a small group of staff to deliver evening entertainments
* Supervision, Night duties and any other duties
* Driving or acting as transport escort with our guests
* Attend staff development training
* Any other specific duties connected to you position

We are looking for a candidate who will be able to develop a superb rapport with other staff and guests alike, be an outdoor adventure seeker with suitable qualifications and experience. You will ideally have worked in this Industry already for 12 months.
You should also hold one or more of the following qualifications:
BCU/ICU Canoe/Kayak Level 3 Coach TRG/ASS, Single Pitch Assessment or Training/Mountain Leader Assessment/Training, RLSS/ILSS Beach Lifeguard, BSA/ISA Surf Coach, GNAS Archery, BFA Club Leader, Environmental Degree, Language Diploma/Degree (French/Italian/German/Spanish), First Aid qualification, D1 Driving License.
