Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a key part of the Scout Activity Centres team.

The Scout Association operates four activity centres in the UK with this position being based at Gilwell Park which is on the edge of Epping Forest in north east London.

This position involves supporting and motivating a small team of staff some of whom will be long term volunteers. You will work alongside the team to ensure the delivery of activity sessions and programmes to a broad range of guests. Not only will you be providing excellent informal outdoor learning experiences but also providing feedback to instructing staff to ensure they develop their own skills.

Requirements
The successful candidate will join us at an exciting time as we really drive forward our activities program. You will have a real passion for working outdoors with young people, providing activities that are fun, educational and safe

Previous experience of working in an activity centre is essential. Skills or qualifications in outdoor activities are desirable.

All staff will go through our comprehensive induction and basic training in addition there are normally a number of opportunities to gain experience and training in additional activities as well as personal skills development.
