Yacht Skippers

Description

RYA qualified Skippers wanted to lead our flotilla holidays.

As a Skipper you will be responsible for running all of the delivery aspects of a guests holiday afloat. At any one time you may be responsible for your small lead crew team (mate & engineer) and up to 80 guests on 10 of our yachts.

There are two types of role available:

FLOTILLA SKIPPERS
You can be away from base for up to two weeks a a time, where you are entirely responsible for your guests, your team and the maintenance & safety of the flotilla. You will live on your lead boat for the whole season along with your crew.

VILLA FLOTILLA SKIPPERS
You will spend one week away from base with the same responsibilities as above, then one week shore-based, training our guests to sail. RYA Keel Boat Instructor qualification is essential and plenty of teaching and sailing experience desirable.

Requirements

You will be qualified according to the RYA yachting scheme and have plenty of experience running or being part of a large flotilla.

A skipper should be well presented and able to exercise patience with the whole team and our guests. You will mostly be dealing with beginners or novices when teaching this sport.
