Description
Your love of adventure sports and the outdoors makes you perfectly placed to introduce more people internationally to the beauty, culture and diverse activities that Oman has to offer. Fluent in English and French (or another relevant language) you will manage and coordinate existing sales and create new itineraries and tours to secure new business. You then have the opportunity to accompany groups on tour and enjoy the big outdoors with them.
As part of a small team you will ensure that your trips run smoothly and efficiently and discover ideas of how they can be developed and expanded.
Responsibilities

The duties include but are not limited to:
* Securing repeat and new sales from existing tour operators for your region
* Securing new tours and tour operators
* Coordinating tour dates across all trips to ensure all are properly resourced
* Ensuring all ground agent responsibilities are arranged i.e. airport transfers, accommodation, transport etc
* Briefing the tour leader each trip (inc providing budget) and attending guest briefing where appropriate
* Accompanying trips when required and appropriate
* Facilitating all extension activities and guests’ additional requirements
* Ongoing customer service liaison with tour operators and guests
* Participation in other company activities and other duties as directed

Requirements
Person specification

This role demands an enthusiastic, self-starting individual that is proactive and full of drive and initiative with an eye for creativity and attention to detail.

Essential:

* Strong written and spoken English
* Fluency in a second language, preferably French/European
* A minimum of 3 years experience in sales
* A hands-on, can-do attitude with a flexible approach
* A strong understanding and experience of direct customer service
* A solutions focussed person who shows initiative and has the ability and confidence to implement
* Experience of working in a busy environment under time pressures
* Excellent writing and communications skills
* Understanding and affinity with the goals of Muscat Diving & Adventure Centre
* A clean, driving licence
