We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated person at our busy Activity centre in Llangollen, North Wales. The Assistant Manager will be an integral part of our well-knit team, with joint responsibility for the Centre at the weekends, and playing a supporting role to the Centre manager during the week. Opportunities exist for further training in the provision of Outdoor Activities.
The Assistant Manager will be involved in the provision of some activities where suitably qualified, Sales and Admin, Staffing of activities and a wide range of varying tasks relating to the running of a busy Outdoor Activity Centre. The successful applicant must be willing to work through peak periods. |

Essential:
Experience of the outdoor activities industry or experience of working in a increased risk environment. (Experience of producing risk assessments and of health and safety procedures welcomed)
Ability to deal with a wide range of people, including the general public
Ability to work without supervision and to act on own initiative, whils keeping within the company's safety procedues and policies.
Good telephone manner
Good level of physical fitness.
Current driving licence.
Preferred:
Any of the following - SPA / SPAt, BCU L2 kayak coach or higher, BCU L1 raft guide or higher,
Knowledge of office systems, computer based accounting systems (Preferably Sage) and good IT skills
Awareness of equal opportunities
Valid First Aid Certificate (training can be provided)
