As the Camp Director you will ensure that your camp/centre runs smoothly in line with Horizon Operating procedures.
Your leadership and organizational skills will be paramount in leading a senior team, instructors, group leaders and trainees to the highest level to achieve set targets. You will oversee all areas of the camp/centre to include, activities, guest welfare, shops, food and accommodation/meals, therefore playing the highest of roles in budget control.
Holding considerable management experience in a summer camp/centre or related field you will manage, motivate and coach a team of approx 12-35 staff and up to 300 guest’s ranging from 5-17 yrs old, plus adults.
You will also play a major role in the pre summer camp/centre staff training. You will need to be a natural leader and people’s person, passionate in what you do with a "can do" attitude and a "hands on" approach. You will be an enthusiastic, positive, pro-active thinker. |
