Chief Instructor

Description

The Chief Instructor will be involved in leading all activity groups. He/she will be a model for junior staff and a confident and friendly host to visiting groups. He/she will be required to help develop the range of activities and oversee the maintenance of the equipment and infrastructure. He/she will also be directly involved in training junior staff and apprentices and facilitate their achieving NGB awards. A normal working week is flexible Monday-Saturday, typically 40 hours.

Requirements

Oakwood Youth Challenge is looking for a Chief Instructor with excellent leadership skills. He/She will required to be an active practitioner of the activities we offer. All staff should be willing to share and speak up for their faith and have a genuine compassion for young people.

All applicants must be committed Christians. SPA, TCL (or equivalent), GNAS, First Aid and ideally a clean D1 driving license.
