Senior Instructors are experienced activity instructors who take on higher levels of responsibility for planning and delivering activity programmes or training and developing staff.

The exact role varies from centre to centre but it usually combines delivering activity sessions with the management of activity programmes, maintaining safety management systems, leading training sessions for other members of the staff team and/or helping other staff to improve by providing feedback.

Senior Instructors will have usually higher level NGB qualifications, e.g. RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor or BCU Level 3 Coach.
